I’ve been working as a consultant for about 12 years now, and my focus is on building business websites. I’ve also spent about five years working as a web developer. Before I started working for businesses, I was a student, so I can speak from the perspective of a student when it comes to business. I have a Bachelor’s degree in business from Simon Fraser University and a Masters in Internet Business Management from the University of British Columbia.
Using the right tools that are easy to use and easy to learn, there is no problem if your website doesn’t run on top of Google. The only thing that concerns me about the technology I use is that it doesn’t handle the internet so that you’re free to do the same. I don’t like to go around asking my customers where they bought their e-book or even if they’re looking at their websites.
