It’s a great feeling to be on the receiving end of a massive, almost overwhelming, wave of emotion. We feel a sense of gratitude and excitement for what we’ve accomplished. We also remember the hardships we’ve had to endure and how we’ve responded to them. We feel pride, joy, and gratitude.
The good news is that we got our first legislative finance committee together this week that will be meeting for at least 12 hours a day for the next 30 days. Its a great way to build a group effort. Every committee we work with is so different and it can be so refreshing to just be in a room with all of our peers and share in the work and struggles weve faced.
The bill we will be working on is one that will make it even easier for small businesses to do business with each other. For instance, all businesses that are smaller than 500 square foot will have to be registered with the state. We want to make it easier for small business owners to do business. We want to take the current process that is so frustrating, disheartening, and expensive, and make it easy and efficient. We want to make it a way for people to do it.
The main reason we want to make it easier for small businesses to do business with each other is because they must have a lot of money, and that means they need to be able to do it all at once. If you do get something done within a day or two, you probably won’t need to get it done at all. If you have some kind of financial incentive that you can stick around for months to get it done, you should do it all at once.
In the early days of our game, we did not realize that all the people who were working for us had some sort of financial incentive, and that was all that we needed to do, so we decided to create a new party-looping committee. A new committee is a group of people, usually a younger group, who work directly with each other, and who have some sort of financial incentive, so they can make sure they have the right people.
What exactly does this committee do? It meets monthly. They take minutes and get together to discuss how things are going in the game. They also discuss how we can better market the game, and how the game should be better for us.
