This is the ultimate version of the best of the whole package. It’s a perfect way to start your day and build a strong, healthy body on the go. But it’s not all that easy. It’s possible to train your body to think ahead and to do things, but it can be quite challenging to accomplish without the help of the “to do” thing.
Its easy to train your brain, because you’re always working toward a goal. But it’s hard to train your body. And when your body is doing something it doesn’t want to do, it’s hard to want to do it in the first place. That’s why “miracle fitness” is such a catch-all term for things that are hard to achieve with the help of your body.
A few years back I came across a book called ‘the miracle train’ by Richard Deacon. It was a book about time-delay training. You learn how to train your body to be better at doing things it normally wouldnt. Basically, you train your body to be able to do something it normally wouldnt do, but you delay the moment it actually does it, so that the time is right to do it, and it does it.
Imagine you are on a time-delay training course. One week, you are supposed to be a model of health and fitness. The next week, you are supposed to be a model of strength and stamina. After a week, you’re supposed to be a model of endurance and toughness. After a week, you’re supposed to be both.
The first week, youre supposed to be a model of agility. The next week, youre supposed to be a model of endurance. The next week, youre supposed to be both.
Youre supposed to be neither. Youre supposed to be both.
The concept of a time-delay course is pretty interesting. You can think of it as an interval training program that stretches you beyond your normal limits. The idea is to make you stronger, stronger, stronger. It sounds fun. But like anything, there’s a lot of science behind it that you can’t really understand until you’ve tried it. You might not even be able to find all the science behind it. You might have to look it up.
