Like most of you, I’m a huge fan of Fitbit. The fitness system uses a combination of exercise and tracking to provide you with a great way to monitor your progress. I like the Fitbit because it doesn’t require you to get out of shape to use it, and it is very easy to use. The Fitbit is even compatible with the iPhone, which is a great bonus for those of you who wish to track your fitness progress.
For the fitness enthusiast, the Fitbit is a great fitness companion, but for the rest of us, its great as a way to stay on top of all the different health metrics that the Fitbit has to offer. What I don’t like as much, is the fact that the Fitbit keeps track of your heart rate, activity level, and sleep patterns, but that it doesn’t do any other kind of data analysis on the data.
This is a problem I just don’t have with the Fitbit. While I can see the appeal as a health tracker, the fact is that Fitbit is not a data analytics tool. It’s a fitness tracker, and while it tracks your heart rate and other health metrics, it doesnt analyse the information to find out what your body needs to be doing to stay healthy.
I understand the appeal of Fitbit as a health tracker. But in my experience I have found that it is not as good as the other health tracking devices that are on the market. I have owned several of them, and while I generally like the device, I find it is much more fiddly to set up and use.
This is a good point. My first Fitbit was one that was pretty flaky. It worked well for a few weeks, but after a few days my fingers started to tingle and I had this constant, throbbing pain in the tips of my fingers. I ended up putting it in my pocket and letting it sit there for a few months before I finally got around to returning it.
I am probably the first person to try it and it’s a bit of a long shot. I was a little scared, but I am a little of the wolverine. I have got a few of these on the way, and I think I could use some of the benefits.
