I think you have to be on the same page with what you want to accomplish. In my own life, I do not have one goal to accomplish. I have many things in my life that I want to accomplish, but the process of getting there has been very difficult. To make things a little easier, I make an effort to do something each day that I am motivated to do.
What I wish I had done is to have achieved the ultimate goal on day 1. I wish I had started my day with a positive attitude and decided, “Okay, I think I’m going to start my day by exercising and getting a great workout in.” That’s when I would have had a real goal to accomplish. By the time I reached day 2, I would have been way too exhausted to do anything else.
By the time you reach day 3, you have achieved the goal; you have moved past it, and are in the process of achieving something much more meaningful. You are now ready to move on to the next goal. By the time you reach day 4, you are on the path that you desire, and you find yourself motivated to do something every day, that is, exercise.
I have always been a huge fan of exercise. I used to do it regularly, but I stopped doing it when my friends started telling me that I was getting fat. It got so bad that when I was younger I used to do it in the morning and then I would go do something else in the afternoon.
For the past few weeks, I’ve been doing the exact same thing. I’ve been eating breakfast and doing a little bit of exercise in the morning before going to work. I’ve also been doing more exercise in the afternoon. I’ve also had a few friends ask me if I’m doing something different with my workout. I’m not. I’m doing the same thing, but I’m doing it differently.
While I agree that people should do more exercise, that doesn’t change the fact that exercising more is not the ultimate solution to getting fitter. It’s not a one-size-fits-all solution either. For example, you don’t have to do a ton of exercise if you have a high metabolism. For me at least, the amount of exercise I have been doing in recent weeks has been just enough to keep my current body weight down.
The reason I’m not getting much exercise is that I still don’t have a high metabolism. I have been doing the same things for years and years, and I do it all the time. I’m not running, I’m not watching, I’m doing the same things. I have no idea why I’m doing the same things. I have no idea why I’m doing them at all. I’m not feeling lazy. I’m doing them so I can’t go for a break.
So why do you feel like you still aren’t getting enough exercise? It could be that you’ve never tried to do what you’re already doing. Maybe you just don’t care. Maybe you’re just not in it for the long haul. In that case, you’re probably not alone. It’s not a lack of willpower in the least. It’s not laziness, either.
My problem is maybe Im having a really bad day. I was just trying to find a way to not do what Im supposed to do.
That’s really sad. I hope you’re able to find a way to make it through your day without doing this. I know I’ve been fighting this problem for years now. Like many others, I get very discouraged when I’m not able to be more than 4 minutes of exercise in a day. I think it’s because I’m just not in the mood. I have a very hard time doing it. If you think you are up to it every day, you’re probably not.
