I’m going to be an auto finance major, so this is my first time joining the conversation.
In the auto industry, there’s nothing worse than someone who goes into a dealership and wants all the cars in there but doesn’t have the money to buy them. That’s when the finance department tries to help you out by finding you a better deal. In this particular case, the finance department was part of a group of people trying to help out their friend who was trying to make a sale a few months ago.
